- Heart Pain From
Cervical Spine
- "Degenerative disease
affecting bone and cartilage of the cervical
spine and coronary infarction. Various
extensions and mobilization techniques for the
cervical spine seems to bear proof of the
alleged correction, when they result in prompt
elimination of cardiac pain." Bruckmann,

of the Cervical Spine and Coronary
infarction."
- Vision/Blindness
- *"Spinal
manipulation was determined for visual disorders
by four opthamologists independent of the other.
Patients were examined before and after
manipulative treatment. In all cases, the vision
improved (in either visual field and/or visual
acuity)."

Perception Deficit By Spinal Manipulation."

- *An
elderly man presented with traumatic vision
loss. An optometric and opthalmological
examination revealed, treatments were not
indicated and the vision loss was permanent. The
patient was referred to a chiropractor. After a
series of adjustments to correct subluxation in
the atlas and axis (C1,C2) vertebrae, vision
returned.

- Cranial Trauma &
Head Joints (C1,2)
- Many discomforts subsequent to
cranial trauma remain latent for a considerable
length of time and were unexplainable until now.
They are due to subluxations of atlas and axis.
They consist of muscular reflectoric, radicular
and sympathetic N.S. symptoms. Chiropractic
treatment aimed at realigning cervical vertebrae
is the recommended course of action and can
relieve all symptoms completely. G.

Joints (German Medical Weekly), 80, 1503
- Facial Pain
- Unusual facial pains were
linked to functional disorders of the
cervical-occipital juncture due to
musculotendon, vascular and sympathetic nerve
irritations in the upper cervical spine. P

"Records of numerous cases
including myocardial ischemia showed lesions of the
spinal column are perfectly capable of simulating
accentuating, or making a major contribution to
(organic) disorders. There can, in fact, be no doubt
that the state of the spinal column does have a
bearing on the functional status of the internal
organs." W. Kunert,

Due to Vertebral Lesions. CIBA Symposium (3); 85-96.
- Eye Jerking Nystagmus
- Nystagmus (involuntary jerking
movement of the eye) is caused by a condition in
the cervical spine involving it's bones, joints,
and or muscles, affecting the neural information
from the proprioceptors (nerve receptors) in the
cervical spine. Collar,
M., Couraux, C. Thiebault, M.D. (1967)

Caused by Conditions of The Cervical
Spine."
- Headache
- "It appears that
chiropractors have been right all along. A team
of doctors at Syracuse University have
established with scientific, anatomical proof,
that damaged structures in the neck
(subluxations) are the cause of many chronic
headaches."
December 28, 1995. Life

- Depression
- "It it not surprising that
chiropractic manipulation lifts depression. It
is possible that chiropractic maneuvers will
become an important tool in psychiatric
treatment."

Research on the Spine and Nerve Related Problems
- Over the years chiropractors have
experienced tremendous success in helping patients with
all kinds of health problems. For the most part the
general public thinks chiropractors are merely back pain
doctors who relieve back and neck pain by "popping
the back". Most people don't realize the implications
spinal misalignment (or subluxations) has on their total
health. In fact, most medical doctors have never even seen
the vast amount of research done on the subject and
ironically are unaware that a large portion of the
research available has come from their fellow colleagues
in the medical profession. However, many of these well
intentioned but poorly informed medical doctors are quick
to tell their patients, "there is no research on
chiropractic." "it's all theory." or
"it's never been proven."
The fact is, the basic philosophy of
chiropractic has held up over the years under consistent
scientific and clinical scrutiny. In short, if the spine
is an normal alignment never force flows freely and body
function is normal. In a misaligned (subluxated) spine
nerve interference occurs and the body function gets
disrupted. Most people don't know that in addition to
using proper lifting techniques, exercising, and drinking
plenty of fluids, maintaining the spine requires periodic
adjustments for stabilizing alignment.
Without spinal adjustments subluxations
develop in approximately nine out of ten people. The sad
thing is many nerve related problems mimic medical
problems and patients never know it. They repeatedly go to
their medical doctor to find out what is going wrong and
get something to cure their symptom, never realizing that
the real cause could be spine and nerve related from a subluxation.
This brochure is only a fraction of the
medical research available to substantiate the fact that a
subluxated spine can affect your overall health's
potential. Everyone should have a chiropractor on their
health care team and for one reason, proper spinal alignment
for optimum nerve integrity. After all what if your
so-called "medical problem" was really coming
from a subluxation? Wouldn't you like to know? Contact our
office for an appointment and for more information on how chiropractic
can help you.
